Is Ubuntu going exclusively for the laptop, desktop, android mobile device market?
No interest in LVM?

Bug description:
The installed Ubuntu uses LVM and has the lvm2 package installed. When
installing grub-pc from chroot (via Boot-Repair, see
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1287914 ), grub-install gives no error, and
update-grub gives File descriptor errors. After reboot, GRUB menu does
not appear.
