If I understand you correctly, you are saying that changing the size of
the partition multiple times before applying should only resize the
partition once, not multiple times.  If so, this has been fixed
upstream.

  about GParted in Ubuntu 8.10 Live CD

  A few days ago, I want to increase the swap size.
  There are 3 parts in a hard disk.
  /dev/sda5 = swap (grow)
  /dev/sda6 = home (shrink)
  /dev/sda7 = root (move)

  And I didn't know it can be drag in the bar center to move /dev/sda7, so I drag its drag to move /dev/sda7.
  Then it got the folloing Detial.....
  Detial: (the listed operations)
  1. Move /dev/sda6 the the right and shrink it from 289.58 GiB to 275.68 GiB
  2. Move /dev/sda7 the the right and shrink it from 8.00 GiB to 3.70 GiB
  3. Move /dev/sda5 the the right and grow it from 525.50 MiB to 1019.72 MiB
  4. Move /dev/sda7 the the right and grow it from 3.70 GiB to 8.01 GiB
  5. Move /dev/sda6 the the right and grow it from 275.68 GiB to 289.09 GiB
  6. shrink /dev/sda5 from 1019.72 MiB to 1004.03 MiB
  7. shrink /dev/sda5 from 1004.03 MiB to 1011.88 MiB
  8. resize/move /dev/sda5 (new and old partition have the same size and positition. continuing anyway)
  9. resize/move /dev/sda5 (new and old partition have the same size and positition. continuing anyway)
  10.Move /dev/sda7 the the left and shrink it from 8.01 GiB to 8.00 GiB
  11.Move /dev/sda6 the the left and grow it from 289.09 GiB to 289.10 GiB

  When "Resize/Move" applyed, it make me CARZY.
  Because GParted do the "every" Detial in the list.

  GParted should pased the detial at first, than apply the new listed operations.
  Currect Detial:
  1. Move /dev/sda6 the the right and shrink it from 289.58 GiB to 289.10 GiB
  2. Move /dev/sda7 the the right
  3. Move /dev/sda5 the the right and grow it from 525.50 MiB to 1011.88 MiB
