Title:
Unable to work with filesystems mounted on a mount point with a space
  in its name

Status in Gnome Partition Editor:
  Unknown
Status in “gparted” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gparted

I had a vfat volume with a space in its volume label. It therefore
automounted onto "/media/FREECOM HD" - gparted failed to handle this,
reporting an exclamation mark icon against the volume, and in its
information "Unable to find mount point. Unable to read the contents
of this filesystem! Because of this some operations may be
  unavailable"

Renaming the volume label to omit the space worked around the problem.
