Oh, interesting. Not the kind of problem I *expected* to find, but it
certainly explains why the hostname job is failing.
Hostnames are not allowed to contain spaces. Could you please edit
/etc/hostname and /etc/hosts to replace "ultimo sapientiae" with
"ultimo-sapientiae", and see if that fixes your problems?

Bug description:
Using ubuntu 11.10 kernel 3.15 (also had the same problem with previous kernels)
A lot of the times I try to boot ubuntu,
after the grub Instead of the login screen I get this screen instead http://i748.photobucket.com/albums/xx130/sirvinniei/IMG_0092.jpg
(the line about plymouth says not connected to plymouth)
usually rebooting it (sometimes more than one time) solves the problem
