[Bug 920162] [NEW] Cannot upgrade from 10.04 to 12.04

I am trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 LTS to Ubuntu 12.04. I run the
update-manager -d command. The upgrade starts but it fails at the step
"Cannot calculate packages".
