[Bug 922492] [NEW] Install 12.04 Fails after before/during tasksel alternate/amd64

Public bug reported:

Not much else to report, I can't tell if it's failing during tasksel or before, I continued the install.  Failed to boot (no surprise).  
Just a virtual machine (virtualbox from virtualbox repos, debian stable. non-ose), already overwritten.

tell me if you need me to attempt it again and save the logs.
