error
could not install the upgrades
the upgrades has aborted.your system could be in an unstable state
a recovery will run now {dpkg--configureug-a}
please report this bug using the command "ubuntu-bug update manager" in a terminal and include the files
in-var-log-dist-upgrade-   in the bug report.
E:sub-process usr-bin-dpkg  returned an error code (1)


i was updating from version 11.04 to  11.10
and after it reached 99% percent installing updates it crashed and i got the messeage above
