acpi_osi=Linux is not a supported configuration.  The acpi-support
package is also not involved in the handling of these hotkeys.  If you
still see problems when not passing acpi_osi=Linux, then please file a
bug report against the linux package.

Title:
  Mutelight on Lenovo T410 not working

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The little LED in the mute and the mic buttons are not working under the newest version of ubuntu 12.04 
  But not as mentioned in  bug #408903 acpi_listen does not give any output pressing the mute, volume and mic buttons.
  Only the fn Hotkeys give an ID...

  My Grub Commandline looks like this: 
  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash console=tty1 acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_osi=Linux"
