Maybe linked to this problem:

Running winetest, KUbuntu crashes and reset to the kdm login page.
This problem appears during opengl32 test phase (see attahchment)

Bug description:
  Precise i386, logged as gnome-classic

  get these errors logged since a few days, and are widely commented by
  other distro users while googling:

  Gdk-WARNING **: gnome-sound-applet: Fatal IO error 11 (Ressource
  temporairement non disponible) on X server :0.

  Gdk-WARNING **: gnome-fallback-mount-helper: Fatal IO error 11
  (Ressource temporairement non disponible) on X server :0.

  wicd-client.py: Fatal IO error 11 (Ressource temporairement non
  disponible) on X server :0.

  Gdk-WARNING **: bluetooth-applet: Fatal IO error 11 (Ressource
  temporairement non disponible) on X server :0.

  Gdk-WARNING **: telepathy-indicator: Fatal IO error 11 (Ressource
  temporairement non disponible) on X server :0.

  Gdk-WARNING **: gdu-notification-daemon: Fatal IO error 11 (Ressource
  temporairement non disponible) on X server :0.

  On my system, i've only seen these errors logged since xorg-server
  2:1.11.4-0ubuntu5 (nvidia-current 295.20)
