This bug was filed against the legacy grub package for unclear reasons.
Your system is shown as having been installed from Ubuntu 11.04, which
uses grub2 by default.  If you have the 'grub' package installed, but
not the 'grub-pc' package, you should probably consider installing grub-
pc (forcing the removal of grub 1) to see if it resolves your issue.
