[Bug 1008753] [NEW] Boootloader install fail

Public bug reported:

The default 12.04 installer tried to install the bootloader onto the
standard size SD card still inserted. I had the same problem last time
with Ubuntu 10. My Bad, I'll re-install without the SD card inserted and
all should be ok (I hope).
