How to disable vt.handoff in /etc/grub.d/10_linux  of Ubuntu 12.04?

just comment line 160?

  When using the nouveau driver, the boot screen is corrupted on my
  Thinkpad T61. See attached photo.

  When I was using the nvidia proprietary driver, it was displaying ok.
