FWIW - I downloaded theubuntu-12.04-beta2-alternate-amd64.iso  and my
installation finished without error.  UP and running.

  libqt4-xmlpatterns fails integrity test on CD

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Trying to install Precise with 64-bit installer and aborts due to
  unreported error.  I then ran an integrity check after ( should have
  known better )  and
  ./pool/main/qt/qt4-x11/libqt4-xmlpatterns_4.8.1-0ubuntu4_amd64.deb
  file failed the MD5 checksum verification.

  I downloaded the same file from another mirror and both ISO file match
  the sha256sums. Going to try installing with the beta1 installer for
  giggles.
