Title:
wine 3.1 updates have bad verification.
Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
apt:
Installed: 0.8.13.2ubuntu4
Candidate: 0.8.13.2ubuntu4
Version table:
*** 0.8.13.2ubuntu4 0
500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-updates/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
0.8.13.2ubuntu2 0
500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main amd64 Packages
This is not the first time that this has happened. In fact, lately it
has been a regular occurrence. I checked with winehq and they inform
me that they submit only source to the distribution center.
Preparation of these updates needs review and or revision.
This can, with risk which I consider small, be overridden when running
from console, but not from update-manager which simply refuses unless
the offending units are unchecked.
Console log attached.
