Ubiquity crashes at one of the last step called "importing document and
settings". I burnt two different CDs to be sure and tried twice with
each. The install does not continue afterwards and the shutdown button
respond but does not shutdown the system. However, when the option
"download update while installing" is disabled, the same crash occurs
but the install is said "Complete" even if the GRUB was not installed
and I can restart the computer (which restart but does not boot having
no GRUB installed). I have to add that in that case, I do not have the
Internet connection active and therefore I am not prompted for a bug
report. If useful, I have a Assus X53SD-SX721V (I7 and dual graphic
chipset GeForce and Intel).
