Public bug reported:
Deep in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-
manager/+bug/979661, we uncovered a problem with the terminal widget not
being expanded when a debconf prompt is presented. Michael hacked
around this by expanding it after five minutes of inactivity. However,
really, update-manager ought to be able to detect attempts by child
processes to read from its embedded terminal widget, assume that that
indicates a need to receive input, and expand the widget immediately.
** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
