Title:
fsck.btrfs should be available in the initramfs

Status in “btrfs-tools” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Currently fsck.btrfs can only successfully operate on the unmounted filesystems.
To allow running fsck.btrfs against vital filesystems (e.g. rootfs, /usr) fsck.btrfs should be available in the initramfs to allow fscking.
On the other hand, fsck tool is expected to work on read-only mounted filesystems, then the issue is non-existent.
It would be great if btrfs-tools started to support doing fsck over read-only mounted filesystems.
