Public bug reported:

do-release-upgrade on ipv6 only connected hosts never shows a new
version available.

Dist-upgrading by editting /etc/apt/sources.list is not recommend so i
can't upgrade my lucid host to the latest lts-release.

The problem is that changelogs.ubuntu.com has no AAAA record and is only
available on ipv4.

** Affects: update-manager-core (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
