Status in “python-reportlab” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  
  Debian package "python-reportlab" is missing fonts.

  The fonts directory is missing (or excluded?) 4 fonts that is included in the tarball directly from report lab.
  /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/report lab/fonts/

  Fonts missing are:

  sy______.pfb
  zd______.pfb
  zx______.pfb
  zy______.pfb

  Without these fonts, report lab will not allow _renderPM.py to render
  PDFs

  Please see the attached fonts as downloaded from
  http://www.reportlab.com/ftp/pfbfer.zip
