Public bug reported:
I tried installing Lubuntu 12.04 in VmWare Workstation 7.1.0 on Windows
XP SP3 (all 32-bit). The install gets stuck at the same point:
Retrieving file 46 of 105
I let it sit there over an hour and nothing happened.
I tried 3 times always with the same outcome.
Note: No internet connection due to authentication proxy.
Installation with the same downloaded .iso ont he same PC worked fine in
VirtualBox.
P.S:
New to Linux so I don't know how I can get the desired log files. the install does not complete I have to manually "kill" it.
** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
