Title:
  dm-crypt shell fallback

Status in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: subversion

  Hi.
I have two laptops using an encrypted LVM. It is setup using this article http://laffers.net/howtos/install-kubuntu-10-10-with-full-disk-encryption/.

When i tried installing the first beta release of 11.04 on one of my
laptops, I could not get the machine to boot. It falled back to this
initramfs shell with the message "/dev/mapper/vg does not exists".

  To day I tried using do-release-upgrade -d on a Ubuntu 10.10 laptop,
just to see if it works now, one day before release, but I get the
same problem as I did with the first beta release.
