I have the same problem, but with a different distro: 12.04 Precise.
The code spits out the following:
An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package
information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include
the following error message:
'E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with
MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/medibuntu.org_repository
.php_dists_precise_main_binary-i386_Packages, E:The package lists or
status file could not be parsed or opened.'
1. My OS is 12.04
2. The update manager (default I assume)
3. I want to use it to upgrade....
4. If it doesn't work, I can't even use the terminal to upgrade/update anything.
Thanks in advance.
