Indeed, your log states:
 tar: ./control: Cannot open: No space left on device
 tar: ./postrm: Cannot open: No space left on device
 tar: ./md5sums: Cannot open: No space left on device
 tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

So, please try to free some space and retry again. When you test it and
it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-
collect 659274 and any other logs that are relevant for this particular
issue.
