Bug description:
  FontForge has been shaky since the first release of Unity, but now,
  with Gnome 3, it has become unusable. It crashes for no apparent
  reason, when you hit Control, when you select a function from a menu
  (that's new - last time I had to use it, menus were safe). Maybe the
  transcript below helps.
