I have noticed that it is related with dike, and openssl version 0.98
In the last release (12.4) I have accidentally noticed that also openssl version 1.0 is installed. So I had both versions of openssl installed at the same time. I have removed the older one (0.98) and everything seem working fine, without any further message about libcrypto.so.1.0.0. So, it seems fixed.
The problem was that, probably, the installer of openssl version 1.0 is not aware of the older version and (in any case) it does not remove it by default.

Title:
  libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available

Status in “openssl” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
This message comes whenever any Python call is done , and possibly in
other situations. The problem is known on the net, and workarounds
suggest to make symbolic links from older versions of the library to
this last one, but my system cannot make me do this. I've just updated
to Oneiric and many packages seem not to work, and, in any case, tehre
are advices not to fix such problems in this way. The error has been
given also while mounting gnome 3, many times, and gnome 3 has not
  started.

  Thanks
