Well, how did you configure them?

This is not the recommended method of addressing this issue. Instead,
if your network cards are configured via /etc/network/interfaces, it's
recommended that you set appropriate 'dns-nameservers' lines for each
interface in this file. If you're using NetworkManager, you should
configure the DNS server settings in NM or allow NM to accept them from
your DHCP server. For more information, see
<http://www.stgraber.org/2012/02/24/dns-in-ubuntu-12-04/>.

Leaving this bug open/incomplete in case you'd already configured your
DNS by one of these methods and the information was not carried over.

Title:
12.04 Upgrade Results in a DNS Issue

Status in “resolvconf” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Just upgraded from 11.04 to ubuntu 12.04 LTS, and lost the capability
to resolve names on the system. There were no problems indicated
during the install, however after the install performed the reboot, I
have not been able to resolve any domain names. My network cards all
have my ISP's DNS configured as they were prior to the install. but
still unable to resolve domains. Is this a known problem? Does anyone
have an idea what the problem might be?
