I have the same error on Precise x386 I can't uninstall this package. All I want is to get rid of it because it doesn't allow me to install or update anything. It has some wierd dependancies. I tried to
"sudo update-initramfs -u"
and choose xubuntu logo theme but no success. I had uninstalled KDE but this single file remained. Now I use Xfce. I now it is probably my fault but I hope it can be fixed somehow. I can't even install kubuntu-desktop now.
