Public bug reported:
I performed a normal installation on an x86_64 host. I installed to the
hard drive at /dev/sda. There was a usb stick in one of the usb slots.
At the end of the installation it said that it had failed to install to
the mbr on /dev/sdb, and I selected to install it from a drop down to
/dev/sda. Unfortunately it failed to boot. There was a flashing
underscore at the top left of the screen but the grub menu did not load.
** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
