I've strong reason to believe you have jumped the gun here in closing
this as invalid. I have attempted to re-run the update, same problem. I
have rebooted, same problem. No other problems are occuring on this
hardware, everything else runs perfectly. Looking at other bugs reported
with similar errors, the problem lies in corrupt packages. I am re-
opening this and will continue to work towards fixing this myself. I
would be ghrateful if you would assist rather than blindly dismissing
the problem as hardware related.
