Ok.  I can't reproduce this bug.  Please run 'apport-collect 855933' on
the affected system, to gather information about how plymouth is set up
for you.

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 dev with Plymouth 0.8.2-2ubuntu26. On a system
  boot I get the message "mountall: Plymouth command failed" and
  "mountall: Could not connect to Plymouth". I have seen this message
  after I tested this bug:
