Bug description:
  Binary package hint: hdparm

  In Feisty final, all of the disk drives are now called sdX instead of hdX. (as i understand they are now using the new pata driver. I have a regular IDE Drive and i want to enable DMA on it using the hdparm. Here is what i get:
  # hdparm -v -d1 /dev/sda

  /dev/sda:
   setting using_dma to 1 (on)
   HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
   IO_support   =  0 (default 16-bit)
   readonly     =  0 (off)
   readahead    = 256 (on)
   geometry     = 9729/255/63, sectors = 156301488, start = 0

  What can be done to enable DMA?
