I went to the Ubuntu forum and am getting suggestions. I also had 1
suggestion here when I came here when I first got started. Then I
deleted my account from here and now I am back. The CD now doesn't even
go to the installation type screen see immage

tell me whether or not it sees an operating system and on the page where
it should list all the stuff on my computer

  I am trying to install ubuntu 12.04 with a live cd as a dual-boot
  installation but the cd does not see my windows 7 already installed on
