Thank you for reporting this issue and helping to improve Ubuntu.
Unfortunately there is insufficient information in the bug report to let
us debug this.  It appears, based on the presence of a truncated dpkg
log and the fact that you're using a live USB stick with USB
persistence, that you may have run out of available space in the
persistence partition during upgrade.
