Public bug reported:

1) I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
2) I couldn't find the version of the package I' m using from the terminal
3) I was trying to upgrade to 12.04.1 LTS
4) Upgrade failed. The message I got was: "E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages."

Possible reasons:
* Upgrade from a pre-edition of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-edition of Ubuntu
* Unofficial packages not supported by Ubuntu

Thanks in advance
