[Bug 1075631] [NEW] Raring i386 desktop installation hangs on 'ubuntu ubiquity[4039]: Step_before = stepLanguage'

Public bug reported:

Raring installation of i386 image 20121106 hangs on virtual machines and harware
Ubiquity 2.12.14

Steps:
1. Start the installation and select the language ( English selected in my case) in the 'Welcome' screen and click 'Continue'
2. Select location
3. Select the keyboard layout
4. Enter the appropriate information on 'Who are you?' screen and click continue
     -->The hang occurs at 'ubuntu ubiquity[4039]: Step_before = stepLanguage ' on vm's
5. Select the user picture and click 'Install' on the web cam screen on hardware:
    --> The hang occurs at 'ubuntu ubiquity[4405]: Step_before = stepWebcam' on hardware
