Title:
Dell Latitude C600 fails to resume after hibernate with X

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
On Dapper my C600 still fails to resume from hibernate properly if X is running.
I have tried it with the ati driver and with the vesa driver, neither works
properly. The machine hibernates fine, but on resume I get a black screen
(backlight is on) and the machine appears frozen.

During the resume there is a brief message on the console which says "Error
evaluating _GTM" also one that says "IDE device ACPI handler is NULL" or
something like that. These messages appear without X as well however, and
  resume works fine without X.

I have tried with and without POST_VIDEO (including commenting out unset
  POST_VIDEO in hibernate.sh, of course).
