Status in “os-prober” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub

  Many new machines come with a Vista partition and a recovery
  partition. When menu.lst is generated both are named the same way,
  which makes things quite confusing for the users. Confirmed on a
  Samsung Q45 with a factory installation of Vista Home Premium.
