This bug was fixed in the package ubuntu-release-upgrader - 1:0.192

Bug description:
  16:24:58 - flash:[~] do-release-upgrade -d
  Checking for a new Ubuntu release
  Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/bin/do-release-upgrade", line 145, in <module>
      fetcher.run_options += ["--mode=%s" % options.mode,
  AttributeError: type object 'DistUpgradeFetcherCore' has no attribute 'run_options'

  Not quite sure what is going on here.

  In 12.10, from the command line:
  $ do-release-upgrade -d
