Bug description:
  When I run this:

  convert joint/* \
      -limit memory 512MiB \
  	-type Grayscale \
      -crop 2x1@ +adjoin \
      -set filename:fn '%t-%[fx:1+(p&1)].%e' \
      +repage \
      'separate/%[filename:fn]'

  Sometimes the "p" in the fx call doesn't update properly, leading to
  files  getting inconsistently overwritten, like this (output from
  'verbose'):
