Bug description:
  Binary package hint: dpkg

  dpkg should create the directory /var/lib/dpkg/updates/ instead of
  failing when not present.

   # dpkg --get-selections > /tmp/dpkg.current-vserver
   dpkg: cannot scan updates directory `/var/lib/dpkg/updates/': No such file or directory
