  Oneiric Ocelot with Kernel 3.0 fails

Bug description:
  I upgraded from natty to ocelot, and on boot i got a purple screen of death. Pure purple, no text.
  I restarted, and it gave me the option to boot in 2.6.38, which i choose, and it worked fine.

  So i tried to install fresh from the cd, and cd upon boot gave me the
  same purple screen of death.

  I'm at a point now, where i guess i will have to reinstall natty.

  32 bit pentium
