You have been subscribed to a public bug:
when installing ubuntu process, it cannot find usb adapter rtl8188cus,
and cannot find dhcp, and cannot establish internet connection.
after installation ubuntu,
it works and try to find network, but cannot connected with it.
result:
I blacklist it and install driver for this card manually from realtec site, and it works now.
I expect, that you exchange existing driver in kernel to driver from realtec site, so, that connection will be established on installation stage .
