[Bug 1066430] [NEW] Empty directory needs 12.8 MB

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 dev with e2fsprogs 1.42.5-1ubuntu2. The last days
a directory in my home folder had a very long loading time with only a
few directories/files. After some research I figured out that the
directory itself uses 12.8 MB after I have removed all files. To confirm
this I have made a look with ls:

sworddragon at ubuntu:~$ ls -al ~/data_old
total 13156
drwx------ 2 sworddragon sworddragon 13455360 Oct 13 17:56 .
drwx------ 40 sworddragon sworddragon 12288 Oct 13 17:52 ..
