Bug description:
  Quantal Alpha 2 installs are oversized

    i386 installs:
    Diskspace used 540megs, over 500m limit
    modules used 16megs, under 40m limit

    x64 installs:
    diskspace used 587megs, over 500m limit
    modules used 22megs, under 40m limit
