[Bug 1061255] Re: GRUB recognizes defunct LDM headers

** Description changed:

- This happened after an update to grub using Ubuntu 12.10, all the sudden
- one day after updating windows 7 would not boot, i noticed that GRUB has
- now added LDM parameters to the Windows 7 loader in GRUB. Windows 7 is
- in fact NOT installed on LDM.
+ GRUB recognizes stale LDM headers left on the disk after reformatting
+ without LDM. This causes grub to complain either that embedding is not
+ possible, and/or to incorrectly use the ldm partition module instead of
+ msdos.

** Changed in: grub2 (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Medium => Critical
