more information:
This issue only appears at the first time boot after the installation, and we can not find it at the 2nd or later boot.

  Step to reproduce the issue:
- Make sure you don't have a internet connection during the installation process.
  1. install the quantal iso with choosing Simple Chinese as the installation language, and select the option "Encrypt the new Ubuntu installation for security" and "use lvm with the new ubuntu installation" in the installation type page
  2. input a password and select the "overwrite empty disk space " in the "choose a security key" page
  3. in "where are you?" page, choose "shanghai" as your city
  4. in "who are you?" page, input your user name and password, and select "encrypt my home folder" option
  5. after your installation, reboot the system, and then you will be asked to input the passphrase of the disk during the boot process. input the passphrase, and in the next step, you will find that garbled character appears on the screen, refer to the attached picture for detail
