[Bug 1067952] [NEW] quantal omap armel netinst installation fails

Public bug reported:

i left an unattended serial install of omap armel netinst running on my
beagle XM revA and was greeted with "Installation step failed" when i
checked again. Sadly the board hung hard so i could not capture any
logs. I will try to reproduce the failure and report here or close the
bug.
