Public bug reported:
I assume a system upgrade is due every 6 months. If so, then the next
upgrade would be V 12.10. When can I expect this?
It ried to download 12.10 first to my wired connection desktop and it
crashed after about the thrird step loading packages. Techy friend said
maybe it was cause by a firewall built into my router so I rewired the
desktop directly from the network modem. Same thing. Rebooted the
computer and the modem, same thing. Went back to original hookup and
tried to upgrade my netbook also running 12.04, same result.
HELP!!!
** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
