  new user account expired

Status in “adduser” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I created new user account in Ubuntu 12.04 server. Everything went fine, except that I couldn't login GUI or ssh.
  After searching hours and hours a solution, I ran a command chage -l "username". I found that new user account will be expired January 1, 1970. I ran a command chage -E -1 "username" and now account never expires. So the default expiration date for the new user account was January 1 1970.
