Please file individual bugs.
But first of all. Can you reproduce with Ubuntu 12.10 CDs? There have been many changes to the installer.

1) fixed size during the whole installation will result in blank space in some screens. We cannot predict required size upfront due to optional screens.
2) What scrollbars and where? Please take screenshots, file separate bug.
3) take screenshot and file separate bug.
4) Which icons? In 12.10 icons from ask page have been removed. Again take screenshot and file separate bug.

Bug description:
  I just want to tell you a few bugs I encountered with the Ubuntu
  installer.

  First of all it should be one size during the whole installation.

  Then in some languages there are scrollbars you might see.

  Third, I want to mention that where you choose your avatar the camera
  output could be bigger and the icons you might take could be in 3
  colums instead of 2 or you do something complety different, for
  perhaps let the user choose if he wants to take a photo or a avatar
  before the screen appears.

  Also for the Design Team: Why not design new icons?
